The life-size School Girl sculpture was created by eight Cushing students during in the 2004 – 2005 academic year. Cast at the Shidoni Foundry in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the statue was permanently installed on campus and serves as a companion piece for the School Boy statue, which has stood at the Academy’s entrance since 1913.
