Cushing Academy Softball is a program built on a historically successful foundation, striving to achieve new heights. Driven by the importance of strong team culture, the program takes pride in creating a legacy.
Recently, Cushing softball won the WNEPSGSBA Class B championship in consecutive years: 2022 and 2023 — and Coach Santos and Coach Ftorek were honored in 2023 as the NFCA Coaching Staff of the Year in Region X, which is composed of coaches from Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Comprised of successful athletes from multiple sporting backgrounds, inclusiveness and competitiveness help to cultivate a cohesive environment. We focus on developing individual skills for all team members to contribute to our success and prepare them to compete at the next level.
