Cushing Academy Ski Team is a coed program that competes in the Central Mass Ski League and NEPSAC Class C Championships.
With Powder and Grace
Cushing's coed ski team practices on Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, MA, a 17-minute drive from campus. (Wachusett was host to the 2022 NEPSAC Alpine Ski Championships.) The team is part of the Central Massachusetts Ski League (CMSL) which includes Bancroft School, Concord Academy, Pingree School, Austin Prep, and Worcester Academy. Our skiers practice five days a week with the opportunity to be on snow every practice during the winter. Training occurs through multiple modalities including dryland training, on-snow drills, gates training, and free skiing. Our coaching staff utilizes video feedback, written evaluations, and verbal feedback to help our skiers perfect their craft.
The ski program has a history of success in slalom and giant slalom event, with both team and individual victories over the years in both the Central Mass Ski League and at the NEPSAC Class C Championships.

Media Week + Game Day Photos
Each season we host a Fall Media Week for our Varsity athletes. In addition, we regularly photograph field hockey games, which can be seen in our Flickr galleries.

Connect with a Coach
One thing you'll find at Cushing: Our coaches care deeply about our student athletes. But don't take our word for it, hear it from our coaches themselves:
If you're interested in Ski Team, we'd love to connect you with Coach Roumi so you can learn first-hand how Cushing Academy can support your athletic goals. Submit an inquiry, and we'll help make the connection.
