A special assembly was held on Tuesday, May 14 where it was announced that the Class of 2019 has dedicated this year's Yearbook to Dr. Susie Carlisle, who retires later this month after 23 years at the Academy. Her advisee Mandi Kinsley '19 and English teacher Josh Quinones presented moving tributes to Dr. Carlisle in front of the Cushing community. "Dr. Carlisle," Mandi noted, "taught me that kindness is the greatest power that we all contain."
